The weekly ritual
What does Today's call mean?
The big card at the top of the home screen is the decision the fantasy week says to make right now: waivers as claims process Tuesday and Wednesday, lineups Thursday through Sunday, injury checks as practice reports land Friday and Saturday, and bye planning on Monday. It rotates automatically with the real NFL week.
What do the numbers on the cards mean?
They are your checklist order from today. The big card is always 01, and the smaller cards continue 02 through 05 in the order the week flows from here. Every decision is available anytime; the numbers just suggest where to start.
What are Wiz's Weekly Calls?
Free, league-agnostic calls for everyone, posted on the website at waiverwiz.app/weekly on the same clock as the app: waiver wire adds with a claim priority on Tuesday, start/sit calls on Thursday, the injury report on Friday, and a bye week look-ahead on Monday. They do not use answers. Personal calls about your own roster are what the app is for.
What week is it showing?
The header tracks the current NFL week automatically, all season, no updates needed.
Answers
What is an answer?
One answer is one researched decision. Pick a decision type, confirm, and WaiverWiz researches the current week with live web sources and hands you a finished call: what to do, why, and what could change it.
How many free answers do I get?
Every account gets 5 free answers per season, enough to try each of the five decision types once. Free answers renew when the next season starts.
Do purchased answers expire?
Never. Purchased answers stay on your account until you use them, this season or any season after.
An answer failed. Was I charged?
No. If research fails for any reason, the answer is not counted and nothing is deducted. Try again in a moment.
I got a used phone and see no free answers.
Free answers are granted once per device each season, so a hand-me-down phone may have already used its grant. Email waiverwiz@appsthathelp.com and we will make it right.
Teams and Sleeper
How does Sleeper sync work?
Enter your Sleeper username, pick your league, and your roster imports in seconds. The connection is read-only: WaiverWiz never changes anything in your league, ever.
My roster changed. How do I update it?
Open the My Team tab and tap Refresh roster on your team. The latest roster pulls straight from Sleeper.
Can I have more than one team?
Yes, as many as you want. Add each league from the My Team tab and tap a team card to make it active; answers are always for the active team.
My league is not on Sleeper.
Set up a team manually: pick your scoring and league size, then build your roster by searching players and tapping to add them. Edit it any time from the team card. With a roster entered, answers are just as personal as a synced league.
Can I add a defense or IDP players?
Yes. Search a team name or abbreviation (Bills, BUF, or DST) to add a team defense, and search by name for individual defensive players like linebackers and defensive backs. If your roster has defenders on it, answers treat your league as an IDP league and include them in lineup and waiver calls. Kickers are in the list too.
Do I have to type player names exactly?
No. Any field that asks for a player suggests matches as you type; tap one to fill it in. You can also type anything, including draft picks in a trade or a comma-separated list of several players.
How do I remove a team?
On the My Team tab, tap Remove on the team card. Your past answers are kept. A removed Sleeper league can be re-imported any time; a manual team is gone for good, so rebuild it fresh if you need it back.
Trust and privacy
Where do answers come from?
Live web research at the moment you ask, focused on current injury reports, depth charts, and beat coverage. Every answer card carries a reminder: AI-generated, verify before making league decisions.
Is my data shared?
No chat logs, no queries shared, no ad platforms. Your roster and answers stay on your account, and deleting your account removes them permanently.
How do I delete my account?
Account tab, Delete Account. Everything is removed immediately and permanently, including your teams and answer history.
